Jay Larson and Lyndon Cabellon's surf podcast

We sit down with surfers and surf shops and talk about the surfing life and what it means to us and our communities!

A conversation with Scott Richards of SLIGHTLY CHOPPY

Our guest this week is an artist, painter, collector, designer, and Surfer. Through his artistic process of hand-drawn, hand-painted, and hand stitching, he combines typography, stencils, tea-stains, worn canvas and felt to create unique mementos and keepsakes that connect people to the spots they treasure most. From Malibu to Montauk, Yosemite to Yellow Stone, Backdoor to Bowls his hand-crafted flags celebrate the appreciation and personal connection of these special places. We excited to hear about how this Detroit/Great Lakes Surfer ended up in Newport Beach with a successful beach brand. Welcome the talented Mr Scott “SLIGHTLY CHOPPY” Richards.
