Our guest this week is an incredible surfer and former pro that made the transition into the business side of the surf industry. Graduating from University of San Diego who has definitely honed in his skills with over 2 Decades at Rip Curl, starting out as a Team Manager, then Marketing Director, to VP of Marketing, ultimately to his last 4 years as President of North America. He is on the board of Directors at SIMA (Surf Industry Manufacturers Association), Board member of USA Surfing and is a member in San Diego Chapter of a Non-profit “YPO” which is a community of Chief Executives. As of recent we want to congratulate him on his new role as CEO at Firewire Surfboards. We welcome this power house in and out of the water, Mr. Dylan “D-SLATES“ Slater!!
