At seven years old this kid from Pasadena went to the beach and watched his neighbor “walk on water”. Of course his neighbor was a surfer and that’s how he became “smitten” on surfing. Right then and there it took over his life. His father was a Pilot and entrepreneur and was trading goods with Japan. The president of @sony gave his father a super 8 camera and he gave it to his son. This kid began filming radical surfers up and down the coast. He would have showings at local theaters and charge $1. He wanted to be a filmmaker someday. Little did he know that the future had other plans for him. Instead of a filmmaker he became a founder of one of the most iconic, innovative, successful, authentic, resilient, surf brands of our industry @quiksilver !!
