In 1925, Kelly Sorensen’s grandfather started a farming supplies company in the town of Mendota, Ca. This is where Kelly learned the valuable lessons in retail and running a business. He went to summer camps in Santa Cruz, where he fell in love with surfing. At 20 years old he decided to leave the family business and strike out on his own.
