Our guest this week is a Hall of Fame Pro Surfer that finished #7 on the Championship Tour. With multiple career victories including the prestigious 1984 Pipeline Masters! In 1985 he founded the Professional Surfing Association of America (PSAA) tour. But from highs to lows, in just a few short years later, depression got the best of him. He hit rock bottom. Soon after, he gave his life to Jesus Christ and he couldn’t believe that his purpose in life was more than just winning Pipe Masters and that his Best has yet to come!!! For the last has 30 years he has been balancing both careers as Coach for the USA World Amateur Champion Team and others, as well as being a full-time Pastor, a guest speaker, an author, and a mentor focusing on our youth! From being on the top of Pro-Surfing, to opening Calvary Chapel Churches, to eventually starting his own Church “Worship Generations” his story isn’t finished! We are beyond honored and pumped to sit down with the Legendary Mr. Joey “THE CALIFORNIA KID” Buran!
