Our guest this week is a Surfer, Shaper, Golfer, and all-around epic Human! He was the Newport Beach poster child for Quiksliver who was getting tons of coverage in the magazines and traveling the world at an early age. He started shaping in 1990 and quickly rose to success. Most likely, because he rips so hard and people noticed the board under his feet had his own name, or maybe because Japan’s Surf Economy was going bananas, or maybe because he had some of the world’s best surfers getting boards from him? I am guessing all three. But, either way, he is a gifted Surfer and Shaper and we congratulate him on almost 35yrs of board-building success.
